Matt and Jeanne began attending First Church in March of 2012 after retiring from 27 years of service in the U.S. Air Force.  He began lay ministry almost immediately by leading a Sunday school class and was later elected to the church board.  Matt has since answered the Lord’s call to be a pastor and is a full-time student with Nazarene Theological Seminary while serving as our Administrative Pastor, and still leads small group studies. 

Matt and Jeanne have been married for 23 years.  Their daughter Taylor lives in Kerrville and son Conner is here in San Angelo.  The Air Force took them all around the world and back again, marrying just up the road at Sheppard AFB, Texas.  Assignments between then and now include  Okinawa Japan, New Mexico, Portugal, Texas, Germany, Missouri, Qatar, Virginia and retirement from Italy.
